The Retreat

Our retreats are open to all levels of yoga experience, all ages, families, couples, friends and solo travellers. This week will be a break from your daily routine, a time to disconnect from the noise of the outside world while spending time in sunshine to practice yoga in the Om dome and other on site yoga shalas, take breaks relaxing on site, watch the sunset, enjoy gourmet organic food, take hikes in the area around the Spanish hills of Grazalema or even visit the nearby White Villages! There will be lots to do in your free time and you can opt in and out of any of the classes and trips on offer during the week.

This retreat will be led by Niamh and Liam both experienced teachers with a thriving wellness business in Wexford in Irelands Sunny South East. Niamh and Liam both lived and worked at Suryalila with their children in 2019 and 2020 and it inspired their vision for developing a retreat in Irelands sunny South East.

Niamh is a full time personal trainer and experienced RYT-500 yoga teacher. Niamh teaches Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga & Restorative yoga as well as mixed movement workshops, strength training and yoga masterclasses. Liam is a yoga alliance international certified breath coach, Gravity Yoga Instructor and an advanced oxygen advantage breath-work coach. Liam has been studying yoga breathing practices for many years, he is passionate about breath-work and is always delving deeper into the history and science of breathing. He has studied breath work with renowned experts Wim Hof and Patrick McKeown. Liam teaches breathwork and mobility classes as well as strength classes which incorporate breath holds and breathing techniques to not only train your muscles but also altering the chemistry in your body using your breath allowing you to recover quicker and improve indurance as strength.
