Spring Retreat

Join us for a week of magic at Suryalila; This retreat is all about renewal, self care and emergence filling you with lightness, vitality and inner peace. It’s about finding space to explore and match your energy to your goals allowing you to expand into your potential creating life balance moving into Spring.


Internalise the senses through deep embodiment yoga practices working from the ground up, guided breathing practices to connect to your inner world, yin yoga to observe the shifts in energy within and music to match the rhythm of life that you seek. All this deeper work will be balanced with some free time to enjoy the extra offerings at Suryalila as well lighthearted fun and entertainment for the senses from live music sessions to visits to some of our favourite Andalusian places.


Our yoga classes are based on functional movement. We understand most people coming to retreats have busy lives and full time jobs. We incorporate myofascial release. We help you understand why it’s good to move the body in certain ways that yoga provides. Slowing things down doesn’t necessarily make it easier but allows us time to feel what’s happening in the body and integrate intelligent habits of movement and alignment. The classes are accessible to all bodies, ages and abilities even if you’re a progressive student of yoga you will be offered variations to go deeper and if you’re starting out with a yoga practice or have any injuries you will be fully supported to suit your needs.

Saturday 15th - Arrival Day!!!

1:30pm Lunch for early arrivals

Free time to unpack and explore the grounds

5:30pm Welcome and a gentle yoga and breathwork class in the Om Dome with Niamh and Liam to land and celebrate our arrival

7pm Dinner

8pm Welcome meeting in Ganesha Hall with Liam, Niamh and Kate

 

Sunday 16th - Sunday in Prado

8am Vinyasa Flow – ´Spinal Flow and Fluidity´- A morning meditation & vinyasa class in Ganesha Hall with Kate. 

9.30am Breakfast

12 noon Breathwork workshop with Liam

1:30pm Lunch

2pm An afternoon hike to the pretty local village of Prado del Rey for a wander around the streets & maybe a canya or coffee in our favorite bar

7pm Dinner

 

Monday 17th – Monday Chill

8am Yoga – ´Finding the seat, my center of power and stability´- A morning flow class with Kate in the Om Dome

9.30am Breakfast

12 noon An embodied strength & mobility class with Niamh suitable for all levels

1:30pm Lunch

Free time for relaxing, massage, horse riding or having a wander

5pm Myo Yin Yoga workshop with Niamh

7pm Dinner

8pm Sauna Evening

 

Tuesday 18th – Benamahoma Day

8am Mobility & Breathwork with Liam in Ganesha Hall followed by a cold dip in the pool so bring your togs if you're in!

9.30am Breakfast

11am A trip to the mountain village of Benamahoma for a river walk with Liam and optional river swim for the cleanse before the new moon 

1:30pm Lunch 

Free time for relaxing, massage, horse riding or having a wander

5:30pm Learning to let go Yin Yoga with Kate

7pm Dinner

8:15pm Movie night - 


 

Wednesday 19th – New Moon Day

8am New Moon Flow with Niamh in the Om Dome

9.30am Breakfast

12noon Breathwork & Mobility class with Liam

1.30 Lunch

Free time for relaxing, massage, horse riding or having a wander

5pm Live music session in the Om dome with Liam, Kate & their band.

7pm Dinner

8pm New Moon bonfire night under the stars setting intentions


 

Thursday 20th - Day trip day

8am ´Sail into the heart and the lungs´- A Yoga & Breathwork with Liam & Niamh in Ganesha Hall followed by a cold dip in the pool 

9.30am Breakfast

10:30am Optional day trip tbc

1.30pm Lunch (for those staying put)

5:30pm Deep Releaser Yin Yoga with Kate

7pm Dinner

8pm Sauna Evening

 

Friday 21st – Friyay Feels

8am A nice chill yoga flow with Kate in the Om Dome

9.30am Breakfast

12 noon An embodied strength & mobility class with Niamh suitable for all levels

1:30pm Lunch

2-4pm Paying massage, cafe and shop bills at the Shakti Boutique

3-5pm Karma Yoga with the Danyadara team

5:30pm Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra with Niamh

7pm Dinner

8pm Closing circle 

 

Saturday 22nd – Departure Day

8am Vinyasa Flow with in house Suryalila teacher

9.30am Breakfast (an earlier breakfast will be laid out for those with earlier departure times)
